q Earnest Money Check

q Home Inspection (if applicable)

Steps In Obtaining/Processing Your Loan

q Pre-approval process completed (formal loan approval)

q Approval Letter sent to Real Estate Agent

q Purchase Offer made and accepted (earnest money)

q Home Inspection completed (if applicable)

q Purchase agreement sent to lender

q Title work and Appraisal ordered

q Lock Loan Rate and sign final application forms

q Additional Documentation requested/update documents

q All documents received & file submitted to underwriting

q Set up Home Insurance- required at least 2 weeks
before closing, and should be paid in full at closing. Insurance agent should call Sandy at 952-847-9830.
   
q Check with your Financial Institution 
    where your funds to close are on deposit,
to determine the time necessary for the cashier check or wire transfer to closing.
(We suggest that you contact your financial institution 2-3 weeks prior to closing to assure proper transfer of funds).

If funds are not properly transferred, this could delay the closing.

q File is sent to Title Company

q Title Closer prepares final numbers

q Title Company emails preliminary final numbers to Kim and Sandy for their review.

q Kim’s office will contact you with these numbers
